SUBSTANCE: invention refers to a method and device for making absorbent products. The method involves the stages: supplying a long sheet of roll material, performing the first operation of folding the roll material lengthwise so that sections of the first side of the sheet face each other; performing the second operation of folding a section of the sheet lengthwise to match the opposite inlays to face each other on the second side of the sheet; forming the sheet junction point within the section wherein the opposite inlays are matched by the second operation of folding with the junction point found between the long sides and a hole in the sheet; separating the sheet completely within the junction point to separate an individual absorbent product from the sheet end. A device for making the absorbent product comprises a feeder, the first folder, the second folder, a sheet junction means, and a separation means.
