SUBSTANCE: invention discloses relates to a set of gender-specific disposable absorbent articles (1; 1'), wherein said kit comprises: a first disposable absorbent article (1) configured to be worn by males, wherein article (1) has, in its longitudinal direction, front portion (3), rear part (4) and crotch part (5) between front part (3) and rear part (4), and first elastic component (31), made with the possibility to provide adjacency and comfort of male user product (1), and second disposable absorbent product (1'), made with possibility of wearing by women, wherein article (1') has in its longitudinal direction front part (3'), rear part (4') and crotch portion (5') between front part (3') and rear part (4'), and second elastic component (31'), made with possibility of ensuring adherence and comfort of product (1') for female user, wherein said first elastic component (31) and said second elastic component (31') comprise a plurality of elastic elements (31a–e; 31'a–g) extending at least partially along each article (1; 1'). According to the invention, the first elastic component (31) and the second elastic component (31') differ from each other at least in location or elastic resistance of said elastic elements (31a–e; 31'a–g). In addition, invention discloses relates to a method of making a kit similar to the above.
