FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to dentistry and maxillofacial surgery, and may be used for diagnosing phonetic disorders and assessing clinical effectiveness in patients with speech disorders. For this purpose, the patient reads a questionnaire presented to show sounds pronounced incorrectly. Each sound is assigned with a specific score reflecting a degree of pronunciation disorder. Total score is derived for the whole questionnaire. If the total score is within 0 to 7, the speech quality is considered to be low. The total score falling within 8 to 22 states the medium speech quality. If the total score is from 23 to 26, the speech quality is considered to be good, while the total score being from 26 to 30 stands for the high speech quality.
EFFECT: method enables stating the speech disorder fast and accurately in the patients.
