FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: container tractor comprises platform (5) for containers (23) to be set thereat and two hoisting gears (9) including jibs composed of frame structures (12) mounted to turn in transverse plane. Frame structure crossbars are fitted parallel with the platform lengthwise axis. Ends of frame structures are fitted on turn drive output shafts while opposite ends are fitted in platform strut bearing assemblies coaxially with the turn drive output shafts. Frame structure crossbars support container grippers arranged at locked spacing to turn about crossbar. Top and bottom limit switches are arranged in frame structure turn path to disconnect turn drive motors. Tray with web is mounted at the platform. Protective shield (25) is located between driver's seat (24) and said platform. Container tractor is connected to power supply.
EFFECT: accelerated cargo handling.
