FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and can be used in radio systems which perform estimation of current information on the noise-signal environment and the signal-to-noise ratio in an intermediate frequency channel for adaptation of various parameters of radio receivers. The technical result is achieved due to that an existing device, having a receiving antenna, a linear receiving channel, a band-pass filter, a square-law detector, an integrator (low-pass filter), further includes first through sixth electronic switches, a clock-pulse generator, a mode switch, first and second pulse formers, an OR gate, an additional amplifier, a multiplier, a second integrator (low-pass filter), a subtractor, first and second analogue-to-digital converters (ADC), first and second pulse accumulators, a ratio computer, a control device and a display unit.
EFFECT: high reliability of results of combined measurement of the average signal and noise power and the signal-to-noise ratio in a radio link, and considerably shorter time for measuring the signal-to-noise ratio owing to concurrent processing thereof.
