SUBSTANCE: cartridge for coffee or soluble products for beverage preparation includes a container (2) for coffee or a soluble product, a cover (6) on the container forming the top wall through which hot water under pressure penetrates into the container for beverage preparation, a filter (4) to be accommodated inside the container (2) over the container bottom wall (20), the beverage passing through the said filter. The container wall (20) has at least one section that becomes destroyed when the pressure of the liquid inside the cartridge reaches the preset value with formation of at least one hole (50) for extraction of the beverage from the cartridge (1). The destructible section is formed by means of a notch or a groove (26) isolating a thinner section of the container (2) bottom wall (20) from the central reinforcement ribs (27) for formation of at least one flexible tab (28) that is attached to the bottom wall along the edge and may be separated from the central reinforcement ribs (27) to form a hole for the beverage passage.
EFFECT: invention ensures production of a beverage with thick lasting foam.
