FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: cartridge contains a cup forming the chamber for a food substance retaining, a lid and a feed baffle designed so that to enable punching holes in the baffle and retaining the said substance in the chamber. The punching means are intended for punching of at least one hole in the feed baffle performed as a response action to the chamber being filled with water. The cartridge has an accumulation zone for accumulation of liquid passing through the feed baffle in a basically axial direction. The accumulation zone is downstream in relation to the punchable feed baffle. The outlet hole for liquid in the accumulation zone allows to discharge liquid from the accumulation zone; the cartridge contains support means including at least one support surface intended for supporting at least one section of the feed baffle to keep a clearance for flow passing from the hole punching means to at least one outlet hole.
EFFECT: improvement of the structure of a liquid flow discharged from the cartridge and good brewing or dissolution of a substance in the cartridge.
