SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in beverage extraction devices for extraction of beverages containing a substance (e.g. ground coffee, instant coffee, tea, powder chocolate, powder milk and so on) in form of particles in a cartridge. Extraction unit includes a base connected to beverage extraction device water outlet hole, detachable cartridge holder containing powdered substance (mounted on the base). The cartridge contains one first cartridge channel which juts out from its inner surface for intake of pressurised water. The base includes water inlet connected to water outlet for water supply to the cartridge's first channel. Cartridge holder includes lower hole for extracted beverage outlet. Base water inlet contains water-proof radical sealing means between water inlet and cartridge's first channel.
