FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: test bench comprises a friction couple consisting of a counter-sample and a test sample in the form of a disk fixed on an electric motor shaft, and a load applying device. The friction couple consists of the counter-sample made as a replaceable plate fixed in a holder and a test sample made as a knife disk of a work member for trenchless replacement of pipelines. The load applying unit comprises a hydraulic jack under which a press box with a compression dynamometer on it is installed on vertical supporting poles and is able of moving. The test bench comprises a container set under the knife disk and fitted by plates fixed inside it on its side walls by springs with soil model being placed between the plates, and a contactless micrometer mounted on a support. Contactless micrometer measurement plane is perpendicular to the knife disk cross-section plane. A holder with a replaceable plate is installed inside the press box and is able of fixed horizontal travelling.
EFFECT: possibility to simulate the stages of pipeline cutting in the course of wear testing of a checked knife disk under the conditions of trenchless pipeline replacement similar to real ones.
