SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication engineering. When a handover condition is detected, user equipment acquires identification information of a target femto cell base station from system information transmitted by the target femto cell base station, decides whether to handover the target femto cell base station, based on the identification information; and transmits a measurement report message including the identification information to a serving base station of the user equipment, when the handover is to be made.
EFFECT: easy handover of user equipment to femto cell in a wireless communication system supporting femto and macro cells.
