FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: eye length (L), curve radius of the anterior surface of the cornea (R), curve radius of the posterior surface of the cornea (RP), corneal diameter (d) are measured. An intraocular lens constant A is determined. The intraocular lens power (Diol) is measured by formula:
EFFECT: method enables providing more accurate measurement of the intraocular lens power with intracapsular fixation following the previous keratotomy ensured by taking into account such values as the curve radius of the posterior surface of the cornea, the diameter of the cornea and the intraocular lens constant A when calculating optical power.
