FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: polymer matrix, which is in a solution of one or several monomers from the group of unsaturated cyclic hydrocarbons, is irradiated by ions with energy, sufficient for ion passing through a polymer matrix material. Ion density is selected such that the solution temperature does not reach its boiling temperature in the process of irradiation. After that, the polymer matrix, which is in a monomer solution, is placed into an ultrasonic bath, filled with liquid, and subjected to the impact of ultrasound. In case of necessity under impact of an ultrasound process of sulphonation or phosphatisation of graft monomers is carried out. In both cases ultrasound has a frequency in the range from 2·104 to 106 Hz and intensity of sound radiation not less than 0.2 W/cm2.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase ion-exchange capacity of a membrane, reduce the time of its obtaining.
