FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radiation modification of polymers and can be used in the manufacture of heat-resistant oil-immersed cables, pipes, heat-shrink films and tubes, in the manufacture of packaging materials, in the manufacture of synthetic and semi-synthetic textile materials, for the manufacture of semipermeable membranes for the purification of substances. Process for producing a radiation-crosslinked polymeric material by dissolving the cellulose-containing raw material in an aqueous alkali solution, freezing the resulting homogeneous suspension, then thawing it, adding a precipitant to the resulting solution, separating the precipitated product formed, dispersing the latter in a solvent medium, mixing the obtained cellulose-containing suspension with the grafted substance to obtain a mixing product, exposure to it by gamma irradiation at an absorbed dose rate of no more than 10 kGy/h until an absorbed dose of 10 kGy to 1,000 kGy is reached and the desired product is subsequently isolated. Crosslinking agent can additionally be added to the mixing product.
EFFECT: technical result consists in obtaining a composite material with an increased degree of grafting and, as a result, with better performance properties.
