SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of manufacturing tape from reinforcing strands or threads. The tape is fixed with each of the outer faces with a polymer binding agent. The tape has a specified width, which, in fact, is constant along its entire length, with the strands or threads passing in it in parallel to the length direction. In accordance with the method the tape length is regulated to a required value by means of a size-setting device. From each of its outer faces the tape is fixed with the polymer binding agent for the uniform tape adhesion. The total weight of binding does not exceed 25% of the total weight of the obtained tape. Invention also relates to tapes from the reinforcing strands or threads.
EFFECT: obtaining tapes with the specified width with increased physical-mechanical properties.
