SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of sea target destruction. Detecting the marine target at a considerable distance along its coherent vortex trace, launching of at least two torpedoes, in torpedo movement route turning angle is set after detection of swirling wake of target so that one torpedo follows therein by turning to one side and the other to opposite one, increasing range of torpedo travel due to reduction of its speed at search section and at movement to calculated or predicted point.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of weapon application, considerably higher tactical advantages.
