FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in ICEs, piston compressors and pumps and converters of drive shaft rotation into piston reciprocation and vice versa. Proposed mechanism comprises crankcase (7) with cylinders (11) to accommodate rods (9) with pistons (11) and drive shaft with drive gear. Drive gear is engaged with drive gear rigidly fitted in crank body. This mechanism has opposed cranks (5) to convert drive shaft rotation into reciprocation of rod (9) with pistons (10) in cylinders (11). Disclosed is the design version of such mechanism and system of such mechanisms.
EFFECT: simplified design, higher efficiency.
