FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the conversion of reciprocating motion into rotational motion and vice versa. The crank arm-free mechanism contains pivotally connected support and drive cranks, a rod pin connected to at least one rod, as well as a means for synchronizing the movement of the support and drive cranks in the form of a planetary gear, the satellite of which is a two-toothed wheel of a non-involute profile, and the fixed gear has four cavities. In this case, the means of synchronizing the movement of the support and driving cranks is a cycloidal planetary gear. The satellite has a modified epicycloid profile with two pointed protrusions. The fixed gear has a modified hypocycloid profile with four cavities. The interaction of the satellite with the fixed gear is carried out through three intermediate bodies of rotation - rollers. The perimeter of the rollers is two times smaller than the perimeter of the satellite profile and four times smaller than the perimeter of the stationary gear profile.
EFFECT: elimination of sliding friction.
