FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in filling cartridge case inner chamber with working fluid and creating overpressure therein to extract initiating charge along with fuse case. Increased pressure inside cartridge case is developed by pulsed heating of limited volume at the surface or at bottom of fluid to temperature not lower than boiling point by focused laser radiation. Proposed device comprises mechanisms to feed cartridge case to processing zone and to retain it thereat, assembly to fill cartridge case with fluid, mechanism to develop pressure and mechanism to remove cartridge case from processing zone. Said mechanism to develop pressure is composed by laser radiation source equipped with extra adjustable focusing device located above processing zone.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of shot reloading.
