FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: cartridge cases free from bullets and powder are filled with the necessary amount of water, then a bushing with a piston is freely inserted, besides, on the side surface of the bushing there is at least one hole provided. When moving, the bushing reaches the inner surface of the case bottom and is tightly pressed to it, its inner volume is filled with water. In process of further movement some water from the bushing is removed via a hole. A tight volume is formed with water between the bottom of the case, the bushing wall and the piston. Further movement of the piston provides for pulling pressure sufficient for withdrawal of the cap from the case.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to dismount a cap without damage, which eliminates emission of hazardous toxic gases into atmosphere.
