FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: bipolar key cascade comprises a key transistor (1), the collector of which via a transformer load is connected to a source of input voltage, a control transistor (2), serially connected diode (3) and the first current-setting element (4), the second current-setting element (5), a source of control (6), an additional transistor (7) of opposite type of conductivity, a source of shift (8) of negative polarity and a capacitor (9). Prior to supply of negative shift for quick disconnection of the key transistor 1 it is taken out from the saturation condition. Besides, supply of negative shift is carried out with the help of transistors (2) and (7), which together with the capacitor 9 at the moment of switching are equivalent to a thyristor. Therefore the residual charge from the basic area of the key transistor (1) is cleared with high speed, which makes it possible to minimise both switching time and capacity scattered on the key transistor (1).
EFFECT: increased speed of switching in a bipolar key cascade and reduced capacity scattered on a bipolar key transistor.
