FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to machine building, namely to free wheel mechanisms, and can be used, particularly, in the drives of machines and mechanisms. An overrunning clutch comprises a housing (1) in which a driving race (2) and a driven race (3) are set with a retainer (4) and rolling bodies (9) being placed in between. Recesses (5 and 6) for the rolling bodies (9) are provided on the surfaces of the driving race (2) and driven race (3) turned to each other, magnets (7) holding the rolling bodies (9) are installed in the recesses (5) of the driving race (2). In the retainer (4) there made are through holes (8) in which the rolling bodies (9) are arranged with possibility of axial displacement. A braking element (10) is installed coaxially to the retainer (4).
EFFECT: it is provided for automatic switching of clutch operation modes and for decreased friction of working surfaces of the clutch races.
