FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Surgical suturing device includes handle and elongated rod with proximal end, fixed in handle, and distal end, projecting from it. Terminal clamp includes a pair of clamping devices, which are fixed on axis on proximal end and are capable of travel between open and closed position. Cartridge contains multitude of surgical staples and is attached to terminal clamp. Electric drive for application of surgical staples has power source and engine. First starting mechanism is fixed in handle and is intended for movement of terminal clamp from open into closed position. Second starting mechanism, fixed in handle, activates drive. First blocking mechanism prevents passing of current from power source to engine, except the case, when terminal clamp is in closed position. Second blocking mechanism has blocked and unblocked position and is intended for preventing movement of second starting mechanism until second blocking mechanism is moved into unblocked position.
EFFECT: improvement of construction.
