FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to caps for tins filled with beverages having a cylindrical part and an upper conic part containing a top with a canted edge including the upper part adapted for the tin top closing and a fixing skirt designed so that to enable latching on the said canted edge and may be used during production of tins filled with beverages. According to the invention, the cap additionally includes a protective skirt consisting of the protective skirt inner and outer walls jointed in the part turned towards the tin bottom with a springing bend formation. The protective skirt inner part is designed so that to enable the butt-end resting into the canted edge of the tin filled with beverage. The diameter of the protective skirt turned towards the tin bottom is equal to the outer diameter of the cylindrical part of the tin.
EFFECT: invention ensures air-tightness of closing of the upper conic part of the tin and hygienic safety enhancement.
