FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: turbine wheel comprises multiple abutting first and second blades arranged at the disc periphery. Every blade comprises shroud between its top and root. Note here that azimuthal length of the shroud of first blades differs from that of second blades. Damping device is arranged between shrouds of blades and disc periphery to extend between adjacent blades. Weight of second blades is lower that that of the first blades. Weight of the root of second blades is lower than that of first blades. Profiles of tips of said first and second blades are identical. Blade butt comprises root wherefrom extend radially the tip and fastener. Azimuthal width of second blades is smaller than that of first blades so that second blades collapse earlier that the first blades in case the turbine wheel spins up to rpm higher than permissible magnitude. EFFECT: lower fatigue wear.
