FIELD: turbines.

SUBSTANCE: when damping blades, installed on low-speed gas turbine disc wheel, under blades platforms of which there are seats to accommodate vibration dampers, performing independently from each other flexible plate enabling attachment to platform, and centrifugal inertial load, providing concentration of forces for control over friction forces relative to platform through adjacent plate. Connecting plate and centrifugal inertia load with possibility of disconnection by partial embracing of centrifugal inertia load by plate wall, adjacent to platform and covering centrifugal inertial load entire upper surface. Inserting made so from two parts shock absorbers into mounting seats under turbine blades platforms. Vibration damper for implementing of said method comprises plate and centrifugal inertial load. Plate is curved from sheet with smaller thickness, than centrifugal inertial load thickness. Plate has wall for resilient contact with blade platform, envelopes centrifugal inertial load and covers its entire upper surface.

EFFECT: group of inventions enables to increase vibrations absorption efficiency in low-speed turbine blades and reduce blades flanges damage from vibration damper action.
