FIELD: sports.
SUBSTANCE: cue housing comprises a striker, a middle part and a butt made with cavities to reduce the weight of the cue. In the cavity of the striker and the middle part along the axial line the string is stretched. The string tension adjusting unit is combined with a threaded connection connecting the middle part of the cue with the butt, in which cavity a balanced load is placed.
EFFECT: improved playing qualities of the cue by increasing lateral stiffness of the striker without increasing its weight, which enables to reduce the demolition of the ball during the off-centre hitting it.
