FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: water-jet heater is designed as a vertical sectional pneumatic pipe. In its lower section connected to the device for feeding material the exhaust coolant is fed. The middle section of the pneumatic pipe is provided with holes or nozzles placed in the conchiform manifold, in which with fresh coolant is fed. The upper section of the pneumatic pipe is connected to the discharge device where the exhaust coolant is released from the solid phase.
EFFECT: increase in efficiency of use of the coolant and thereby reduction of fuel consumption, uniformity of distribution of coolant over the cross section of the pneumatic pipe and intensification of heat and mass exchange.
