FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: method of drying progresses at coolant speed in the range from 0.75÷1.1 of the speed of hovering of material particles with largest size and porosity of the layer in the range of 0.75÷0.95. The specified drying method is carried out in a drying plant comprising a hollow drying chamber of permanent cross section, with a gas distributing grid installed in its lower part, and in the upper part entering an unloading device - a separation chamber.
EFFECT: intensification of drying process, elimination of moist material sticking onto gas distributing grid and chamber walls, reduced dimensions by height, reduced thermal grinding of material, increased efficiency of usage of thermal potential of coolant, provision of necessary and sufficient time of material stay in a drier due to effect of retaining capacity of a grid.
