SUBSTANCE: first version of a fish screen includes an electronic control unit and a single-row system of current conducting electrodes, in which separate electrodes or electrodes combined into sections are placed horizontally. The second version of a fish screen includes an electronic control unit and a single-row system of current conducting electrodes, in which separate electrodes or electrodes combined into sections are flexibly. Flexible current-conducting electrodes look like a soft bared wire or chain with a bared core stretched via its links with a copper tinned mat placed on it and have arched arrangement with different extent of sagging. In both versions current-conducting electrodes may be arranged at different depths. Each separate electrode or each section of electrodes in turns becomes a cathode, and the anode will be remaining electrodes or electrode sections.

EFFECT: minimisation of negative impact of electric field at pump equipment of a pump station, simplified regular visual inspection and maintenance of a device, increased reliability, operability and efficiency of device operation.
