METHODS OF FISH PROTECTION AGAINST ENTRY INTO THE WATER INTAKE FACILITY, FISH PROTECTION DEVICE Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC E02B8/08

Abstract RU 2665597 C1

FIELD: fishing and fish breeding.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of fishery, and can be used for the fish directional movement, mainly to protect the fish accumulation areas or their movement paths against the fish entry into the water intake. Fish protection device includes such basic operating elements, as electronic equipment, the electrodes system, including at least one electrodes section, consisting of conductive electrodes, and conductors. Minimum number of electrodes sections in the device is from 1 or more. Supply voltages from the electronic equipment are led by the conductors to each individual electrode. Number of current-conducting electrodes in each individual electrode section is 3 or more, and is selected so, that the number of cathodes K and created by them cathode field has always been less than the number of anodes A, and created by them anode field by at least 2 times or more, i.e. A=2K+n, where n = from 0 and more. Number of conductive electrodes and the distance between any two adjacent electrodes can vary within each individual electrode section and are selected depending on the hydraulic and hydrological conditions in the device (device specific part) location area, and the protected fish size and species composition. Electrodes can be made both rigid in the form of pipes, rods, plates, and flexible, in the form of soft bare cables, or chain with passed through the chain links bare core, or be a chain with put over it tin-plated copper braid. In each individual section, the electrodes can be made of the same type, i.e. have the same geometric shape and / or geometric dimensions, or differ from each other, i. e. have the different geometric shape and / or geometric dimensions. At that, in each separate electrode section, one conductive electrode is simultaneously becomes the cathode, or group of two or more conductive electrodes, while all the remaining or some of the remaining conductive electrodes in the section become the anode. Next, each subsequent conductive electrode or the subsequent group of conductive electrodes in the section along the chain becomes the cathode, or in one current-conducting electrode, or a group of conductive electrodes in the section in the direction from left to right, or from right to left, either “towards each other” or “from each other”, and all the remaining or some of the remaining conductive electrodes in the section become the anode. As a result, a “running” field is created, generated by the electronic equipment, with the pronounced strong cathode field, i.e. a deterrent effect, which guides the fish away from the protected water intake.

EFFECT: enabled technical result consists in creation of the inhomogeneous electric field more uniform, qualitative structure, increase in the device operation reliability, operability and efficiency.
