SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering and particularly control devices. The invention can be used in scientific research and in practical operation to determine optimum maintenance periods of articles for periodic use and corresponding values of the readiness factor and time of fault-free operation of the article, as well as the allowable time interval after maintenance in which the operational readiness factor of the article is not below a given value. The device has a memory unit, thirteen rectifier diodes, a multivibrator, three flip-flops, two adder accumulators, an OR circuit, five delay elements, two nonlinearity units, three multiplier units, two comparators, a memory element, two subtractors, two integrators, two adders, a divider unit and a polarised relay.

EFFECT: broader functional capabilities of the device by determining the operational readiness factor of an article and the time interval after scheduled maintenance during which operational readiness is not below the required level.
