FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method for roller batteries replacement on posts of aerial ropeway installations, as well as to device for roller batteries replacement on posts of aerial ropeway. In the mentioned method and device for replacing batteries (5) of rollers on posts (4) of aerial ropeways, maintenance vehicle (1) is moved to post (4). By means of rollers (5) movement along the battery the rope (3) is removed from battery of rollers (5). Then, the roller (5) battery is dismantled, and new battery (5) of rollers is mounted, and finally, the rope (3) is put on the battery (5) of rollers again.
EFFECT: simplification of roller battery repair and maintenance.
