FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of material and ground scooping by front-end loader shovel. In proposed method, shovel is installed with its front wall being at an angle to bearing surface, material is ripped by knifes and teeth, shovel is penetrated into stack by thrust motion of loader while beam and shovel are relatively motionless, shovel is turned after penetration. Shovel front wall is made in the form of two-sided wedge. Top surface of the wedge performs additional operation of ripping material volume being cut by shovel. Bottom surface of the wedge serves as shovel support bearing additional loads during scooping. Wedge angle has value of α=7÷20°.
EFFECT: lower loads on wheels, hydraulic cylinders, loader beam, higher efficiency of loader.
