FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and can be used for detection and direction-finding of signal sources. The phase-based direction-finder comprises two antennae, two receivers, a phase meter, four frequency converters, four high-frequency band-pass filters, four intermediate frequency filters, two rejection filters at a second intermediate frequency, two filter banks, a phase meter unit, six radio-frequency amplifiers and a computing device, connected to each other in a certain manner, wherein the computing device calculates angular coordinates of the radiation source.
EFFECT: high noise-immunity, broader functional capabilities and increased sensitivity of the direction-finder.
