FIELD: instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to instrumentation and can be used for life-and-metrological tests of in-pipe inspection instruments. Proposed method consists in feeding test instrument in pipeline via launch-receive chamber. Then, it is forced by transferred flow in closed ring pipeline clockwise. It allows readout of data on pipeline conditions and accumulation of data thereon in in-pipe inspection instrument onboard memory and definition of conformity of instrument reading and flaw actual sizes. Note here that the number of runs of said in-pipe instrument inside closed ring pipeline and its displacement speed depend on pipeline diameter. Task executed, pump station is stopped to withdraw said in-pipe instrument via aforesaid launch-and-receive chamber. Said data is fed to external terminal and, then to server for data preparation for interpretation. Data is decoded, processed by data processing program, analysed and output as a report.
EFFECT: certification and inspection, complex testing at different speeds of pig.
