FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat and power engineering, namely, to power plants that operate according to the Rankine steam-turbine cycle (condensation power plants, nuclear power plants, solar power plants). The concept of the invention is as follows: a system of long-distance power, heat and water supply is proposed, where cooling water after heating in condensers of steam turbines is transported to a serviced city, where it is used as a source of low-potential heat for all types of city heat pump plants. This is water of water reservoirs (system of technical water supply of power plants) or distillate of desalinated sea water.
EFFECT: source water, apart from production of drinking water from it, performs two additional functions: removal of spent heat of steam turbines and its usage as a low-potential source of heat for city heat pump plants, thus providing for liquidation of environmentally dangerous discharge of spent heat into environment and accordingly reducing cost of a power plant and simultaneously providing for mass usage of environmental and energy-efficient technology of heat production - heat pump technology.
