SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the sphere of electric engineering and may be used in the electric brake system for an electromechanical machine (M). The electromechanical machine is coupled to output contacts of the inverter (3), which input contacts are supplied from the direct voltage source (1), at that the system includes an electric circuit connected between the inverter input contacts and contains the following in-series elements: - means for dissipation of electric power returned by the electromechanical machine to the inverter input contacts during deacceleration phase of the electromechanical machine; - switching means (T) designed to close the electric circuit during deacceleration phase of the electromechanical machine and to open the electric circuit when deacceleration phase of the electromechanical machine is unavailable. The means for dissipation of electric power contain an inductance coil (Lf) wound around a magnetic circuit (4).
EFFECT: reducing magnetic losses in the core.
