SUBSTANCE: invention refers to oral care compositions. The presented composition contains sesquiterpenoid and an antimicrobial agent in an amount effective for inhibition and/or destruction of oral biofilm; sesquiterpenoid represents bisabolol and is found in the composition in the concentration of 0.0001 to 1 wt %; the antimicrobial agent is specified in triclosan, cetylpyridinium chloride, magnolia extract, magnolol, honokiol, butylmagnolol, propylhonokiol, zinc chloride, zinc lactate, zinc citrate, tin fluoride and tin chloride.
EFFECT: using combination of bisabolol and the above antimicrobial agent in the composition provides achieving the high anti-biofilm effect when using the oral care composition.
