SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a mechanism for automatic retraction of a movable part of furniture. The mechanism for automatic retraction of a movable part of furniture contains: a body, an energy accumulator (mounted on the body and tensioned when the movable furniture part, functionally related to the energy accumulator, is opened) and a mechanism for tensioning the energy accumulator with the help of a driver mounted so that to enable movement on the body. The energy accumulator is divided into at least two segments. The energy accumulator working length is adjusted with the help of at least one fixture detachably fixed on the body and entering the hollow between the energy accumulator segments.
EFFECT: simplification of mechanism design.
