SUBSTANCE: invention relates to telecommunication chip cards, particularly telecommunication chip cards for enabling the login of a mobile telephone device into a digital cellular mobile telecommunication network. The chip card for enabling the login of a mobile telephone device into a digital cellular mobile telecommunication network comprises: a chip card reader interface adapted to allow communication between the telecommunication chip card and the mobile telephone device; a processor means; a memory means for storing programs for execution by the processor means; and a program stored in the memory means; wherein execution of the program causes the processor means to perform the steps of receiving usage messages via the chip card reader interface, the usage messages describing the use of the mobile telephone device, analysing the usage messages to create a summary message, sending the summary message via the chip card reader interface to a remote computer system.

EFFECT: reducing computational power requirements by creating a summary message which generalises the usage pattern of a mobile telephone device through a telecommunication chip card.
