FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: current measurements are made for reservoir pressure, bottomhole pressure and gas flow rate in steady operating modes of the well with further normalisation of measurement results by their conversion to dimensionless units. Normal gas flow coefficients are determined for the research and a correction coefficient is determined as well. Standardised gas flow rate is calculated for each mode against gas flow coefficients, with and without the correction coefficient. Flow rate deviation indicator is calculated for each mode; the obtained results are analysed and the conclusion is made about authenticity of performed measurements in each mode. When the flow rate deviation indicator for each mode does not exceed 5%, then the results are accepted as authentic, normal gas flow coefficients are brought to dimensional units and the research is stopped. When the flow rate deviation indicator for one mode or several modes exceeds 5%, then the results are accepted as unauthentic for these modes and repeated measurements are made in the above modes with further processing of measurement results.
EFFECT: improving efficiency of gas-dynamic research.
