METHOD FOR IMPROVING THE PRODUCTIVITY OF GAS WELLS Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC E21B43/26 E21B47/00

Abstract RU 2798147 C1

FIELD: gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for increasing the productivity of gas wells and can be used to stimulate the inflow of gas wells from fields and underground gas storage facilities, both newly drilled and in operation. The technical result of the invention is to increase the productivity of gas wells by increasing the permeability of the bottomhole zone of the reservoir by creating a system of cracks in it. In a method for improving the productivity of gas wells, which includes determining the rock properties in the bottomhole zone of the reservoir using the core, creating a drawdown on the reservoir, leading to cracking of the rock and the appearance of an artificial system of macrocracks in the reservoir when determining the properties of the rock in the bottomhole zone of the reservoir determine the strength properties of the rock, in addition, a series of gas-dynamic studies is carried out on a gas well in stationary modes, then by blowing a gas well through a orifice critical flow meter with the release of gas into the atmosphere, a drawdown is created on the reservoir, leading to cracking of the rock and the appearance of an artificial system of macrocracks in the reservoir, moreover, the magnitude of the said drawdown and the diameter of the diaphragm of the orifice critical flow meter, which is necessary for its implementation, is determined on the basis of the strength properties of the rock of the reservoir and the coefficients of filtration resistance A and B, obtained during well testing on stationary modes. Then the productivity of the well is determined by conducting repeated well testing in stationary modes.

EFFECT: increase the productivity of gas wells by increasing the permeability of the bottomhole zone of the reservoir by creating a system of cracks in it.
