FIELD: physics, optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to optical instrument-making and a television endoscope designed to observe internal surfaces of hollow hot bodies. The television endoscope consists of a heat-resistant housing, a mirror mounted at an angle of 45° to the axis of the housing and a heat-resistant lens. The housing is in the form of a thin-walled pipe and has an opening for feeding gas coolant and an opening for inlet of radiation flux and outlet of gas coolant. The heat-resistant lens is placed between the mirror and an image input opening. The mirror is perforated to further allow the outlet of a stream of gas coolant.
EFFECT: increasing the angular field of view of the television endoscope and enabling operation in difficult-to-access areas at temperatures higher than 1000°C.
