FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: endoscope is used for visual search and measurement of three-dimensional defects on lateral surfaces of cavities. The outer housing is in form of a tube. The tube has at one of its ends a mirror lying at an angle of 45° to the axis of the housing. The lateral surface of the housing has at least two holes. One of the holes serves for inlet of a stream of gas coolant and the other for inlet of radiation flux and outlet of a gas stream. The housing and the mirror are made from heat-resistant materials which are resistant to oxidation.

EFFECT: wide temperature range of operation and ensuring explosion safety of the endoscope.
