FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: design of gas-filled cable includes core from standardised spiral four cables with copper strands, which is arranged in insulation enclosed in outer protective hose and with optically transparent plug on one of the edges. Protective hose of cable and optically transparent plug are made from materials chemically resistant to impact of vapours, water solutions of alkalies and concentrated solutions of acids, including hydrofluoric acid; at that, optically transparent plug has selective light transmission (absorption) factor. Plug is installed so that there is a gap between the latter and the core edge.

EFFECT: invention allows improving chemical and radiation resistance of cable, protecting instruments and devices arranged in inner volume of cable against impact of hostile environment, providing visual inspection of elements of the design, which are located inside sealing cover, performing filtration of optic radiation passing through optically transparent plug, providing availability of free space between conductors of electric current and optically transparent plug.
