FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to instrumentation and may be used to determine horizontal location and elevation of an underground manifold pipeline. The method includes admission of an intratubal inspecting instrument with a navigation system inside the pipeline, registration and recording of motion parameters, calculation of coordinates of a pipeline axis in a ground processing station. On a route devices are installed in a stationary manner to determine horizontal location and elevation, their geodetic connection is performed with the help of satellite systems GPS/GLONASS by base and mobile stations relative to reference points. On devices for determination of horizontal location and elevation they install units of communication with the intratubal inspecting instrument, coordinates of geodetic connection are entered into them, communication blocks transmit correcting signals to the intratubal inspecting instrument. Then the accumulated data inside the intratubal instrument and geodetic coordinates of deformation grades of devices for determination of horizontal location and elevation is sent into the ground processing station.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of determination of coordinates of an axis of a manifold underground pipeline.
