FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: method of monitoring consists in performance of stages of installation of control and measurement equipment, data collection by readings of control and measurement equipment, transmission and recording of data, analysis and assessment of processing results and decision making on the need to perform compensation events by results of complex monitoring of the technical state of above-surface pipelines. In process of method performance they detect current position of the pipeline and pipeline supports, and its deviation from the design position, the value of loads at supports, pipeline bending stress, compensator stress, and assess the permissibility of the stressed-deformed state of the pipeline.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to perform assessment of the technical state and detection of modes of emergency-free operation of above-surface pipelines operated under permafrost conditions.
