FIELD: heating, drying.

SUBSTANCE: method of drying lumber relates to artificial drying of wood and can be used in wood processing plants as part of technological lines at the stage of dehydration of lumber. The method comprises placing the portions of wet lumber inside the rotor by means of a removable cartridge, removal of moisture from lumber through centrifugation by the rotation of the rotor and discharging from the rotor the portion of the dried lumber, while simultaneously with drying the lumber the placement of another portion of lumber is carried out on the additional removable cartridge. After termination of drying the lumber the rotor is stopped, and with the help of the additional removable cartridge the primary removable cartridge is ejected from it. Then the additional removable cartridge is finally mounted inside the rotor and its drying is started.

EFFECT: method enables to improve performance of works in drying lumber.
