FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method for geoelectric prospecting in a man-made infrastructure environment, which includes further detecting, in the proximity of sources and receivers of a basic observation system, surface and underground current-conducting man-made industrial and household objects, which may have a distorting effect on the electromagnetic field from exploration prospects near receivers. The method includes establishing the horizontal geodetic position of said objects relative to the actual position of sources and receivers of the basic observation system and electrophysical parameters. For all receivers, the established parameters are used to determine values of the component of the electromagnetic field from each established man-made object and determine the difference signal between measured and calculated electromagnetic signals on the investigated area. The difference signals are interpreted for points of the observation system, the results of which are used to determine the structure and electrophysical parameters of the investigated environment.
EFFECT: high accuracy of prospecting data.
