FIELD: geophysics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to geophysical methods for prospecting and exploration of minerals by electroprospecting methods, and can be used for the prospecting and exploration of target objects having an electrophysical contrast with the host geological environment. Essence of the claimed invention is that, according to the invention, measurements of the components of the electromagnetic field are made within the aperture of observations, which is formed as a band of observations, each boundary point of which along the profile (on the observation area) is removed from the points of the base profile along the normal by a distance corresponding to the lateral position of the maximum of the current density at times corresponding to the projected depth of research. Within the limits of the observation aperture, the EM-field components are measured, on which geoelectric reconstruction of the geological environment is carried out, relating the result to the projection of the profile of the basic observation system. Advantageously, the measurement of the EM field components is performed in three profiles, one of which coincides with the position of the basic profile, and the other two pass along the extreme boundaries of the established measurement aperture.
EFFECT: technical result in the implementation of the claimed method is the high reliability of the geophysical forecast and the reduction of the costs of fieldwork on this basis, in particular for media that are substantially volume-inhomogeneous in electrical conductivity.
